I don't think my scarlet has ever screamed while riding in my vehicle.
She's pretty quiet.

My B&G Macaw doesn't scream while riding either.
Sometimes, however, she'll loudly shout 'hello' to people in other cars.
When unrestrained she'll ride on my shoulder, the headrest, or my wife's
lap. At stop lights she'll climb down my arm and up the steering wheel.
She's also been known to hang by her beak from the sun visor.
